Do I now have a choice - Denbigh or Ripley?

Allow me to try to be clever and say:-

Rhuddlan

also has a castle, like Denbigh and the Yorkshire Ripley! :)

EDIT - beaten to it. That'll teach me to try to be clever! Post withdrawn.

Unless it has changed in the last few years, which I don't believe is the case, my home town of Shoeburyness still has such facilities.

We all have our crosses to bear

Shoeburyness was mentioned in HG Wells' War of the worlds. the Author himself was born in Bromley
