Urgh <( WHU can go to Hell. And that's being kind.

Do I take it that you intend West Ham United to play in Norway next season by your reference to Hell ? They have quite a structured league situation in Norway:-
Premier League...........Tippeligaen
First Division...............Adeccoligaen
Second Division...........Oddsenligaen

There are sectionalised parts in the lower leagues, with the Third Division having no less than 12 sections.

......And I could not find Hell in any one of these...<(<(

Woolwich also has a ferry service

Halifax also lent its name to a building society.

The first four letters of Cheltenham's name, plus "c", equals Chelski Chelsea.

It seems the UCP system is playing up (or at least mine is), so I have not been able to read the PM you sent in relation to this. Having now seen the same message by e-mail, it did give me a good laugh to begin the day with! Given I have roughly 700 miles ahead of me today, I think I could do with a laugh like this - especially considering the painfully early start...

On Football Manager 2005 my brother and I moved them and several other clubs we both despise into the Scottish Third Division - and then pochaed all the best players from them for tiny sums (£230K for Steven Gerrard, for instance) <D

A Chelsea Tractor is a nickname for a type of overlarge car, and the main employer in Meltham for many years was John Brown's tractor factory.

The Brook family -philanthropists of Meltham- also owned an estate at Enderby in Leicestershire.

Shall we use rhyming slang again? ;)

Enfield is the only other post town in the EN postcode area lying inside the M25.

(Harry) Enfield and (Eric) Morecambe are names of TV comedians

Another quintessentially English comedian to share his name with a popular* Irish Sea resort was, of course, and I think I have used this one before, George Formby.

* with someone, I'm sure

Radstock was also a mining town in a county that is not a "shire"

Pity I didn't see this earlier, Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch would have been a great piece of one-upmanship :D
