I understand it’s not strictly down to citylink what vehicles are on their routes as they’re contracted out and this may purely be just my opinion however, McLeans seem to have quite a few runs across the network and these yutong coaches are awful, I’m not particularly tall but I find the legroom to be awful and they’re just not big enough for some of the runs they are operating. They offer a very different experience from the Volvos and panoramas.

They're a good bus in terms to drive and fuel economy is decent but for passengers they're abysmal. The Wheelchair lift door is another shambles of a design for the 2 seats and it's just a big pillar when you look to your left, leg room is practically non existent and if someone reclines their seat back they're nearly on your lap

I recall being on that seat next to the pillar, had to move is was too tight. Puts me off on Flixbus unless I buy the seat next to me. I'm not tall either.

I find the Volvo 9700DDs upstairs after the stairs don’t have a lot of legroom at all

Scottish Citylink data comes from the national coach services database and is forever having issues. Always routes missing or something wrong with the data.

Most Megabus services (apart from the M90) have also been delisted from Bustimes.

It's not 'delisted' as such. The data is literally not in the coach services database. https://data.bus-data.dft.gov.uk/coach/download (link to the coach services database. Note that despite it being a /download link, its just a normal webpage and you have to click again to download)

Citylink are £2.50 cheaper now, Seen they've also scrapped the £1 booking fee for NECs on some of the journeys

they seem to be panicking a bit now with ember taking over

Citylink can travel anytime day you have booked as long as space on the coach. But the one you booked you will def get seat.

Not deliberate. In the national coach services data they have an "EndDate" of 27 April – an error than anything deeper

I did wonder this myself. Although I imagine the winter "roadmto the isles" guide is probably out of stock now anyway.

After a recent trip to Inverness, the only piece of printed publicity I.could see....was from Ember!
