Well Done!!!! Good luck!

Has anyone who has undergone the assessment stage already heard anything so far?

What letter does your surname start with Josecc? Perhaps they are sifting in alphabetical order?

rfc boy,

For the others that have applied and waiting hopeful for a response, I have seen another member confirm their surname begins with "C". Would you be as kind to let members know what your surname begins with, to allow us waiting work out if Abellio are replying to applicants in an alphabetical order?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

My surname begins with 'S' so I don't think it's in any kind of alphabetical order.

It could be when you submitted your application? I know I submitted mine about 3/4-1/2 a week before the closing date.

regards,
darryl

Maybe daz. Mine was in 2 weeks before closing date. I know of at least 4 other people that have their assessments as well so they are working through them.

I'm crossing my fingers hoping that, or that they are contacting people who need to do the assessments first. Hopefully being Yorshire won't count against me

I applied for the Inverness depot. Has anyone who has applied for this depot been invited for assessment yet?

Darryl I submitted mine around then too (5 days before closing) and am still hopefully awaiting a response! Frustrating and nervy wait though! Nice to see the assessment centres are so soon, waiting is the worst part.

Good luck, hope we hear soon

If I don't get any word by mid next week I think I will assume I am in the reject pile.

I submitted my application at the beginning of September so I probably got mine in quite early on

it might be getting done by applicant number - when I asked for a copy of my application by email through the recruitment site I was around the 8000 mark and I've not heard anything yet - that was around the 21st September I submitted mine

I hope not.....I'm just over the 1000. I'd imagine they are well past that number now so if that's how they are doing it, well it's game over for me

I'm curious as to what depots are being prioritised for selection days. Can see from here that Glasgow and Edinburgh areas have made some selections already. My application was 2800ish in the pile. Are any of the people who have been successful in sifting already internal applicants?

Getting a bad feeling here...

I was around the 2500 mark for my application, submitted around 15th, an external applicant and not heard anything so far if that helps others who are awaiting a reply.

Does anyone reckon they may just randomly pick them and if deemed suitable put through to next stage? Completely unrealistic to think that even half of the applications will get looked at surely? i.e if they need X to put through to assessment stage, why would they keep looking? Just a thought.

Mine was submitted around this day as well. I was roughly around the 2100 mark.
