I got told it wouldn't be until after the commonwealth games apparently mate, pretty busy time just now

Surely not, when I asked the lady taking the assessment centres she said that successful candidates would be starting training end of july start of august? And in a previous post on this thread someone said they got told they'd find out by the end of the week?

There is 2 courses starting august and 2 in September apparently. So hopefully we find out before the end of the games

Right I've just spoke with someone at hr and she said we should hear back by the end of next week, they're just waiting on the feedback from the interviewing managers

Tell me about it! Least we've got some idea of an accurate time we will find out, to phone back next friday if I've not heard anything but she said that will be unlikely! Best of luck lads

Good that you phoned up Sensh, at least we all know that we should hear the results next week. The interviewers also told me that we wouldn't hear until after the CW games. That just seemed like a long time to wait, nervously

Not yet, its murder waiting eh? I got told off hr if I've not heard by friday to give them a call back so hoping to hear by friday, doubt ill call back though don't want to ruin my chances by pestering them!

Aye it's torture! I keep going through my interview in my head, well what I can remember of it since I had mine on the 10th, and thinking if I've messed up one of the questions or something! Just really really want this job!

I sat mine on the 16th so you may hear before me, or they may let everyone know on the same day! Either way ill let you know when I hear something!

Not sure you will "hear" anything. One internal guy I know was checking his E-mail like mad and heard nothing but then a contract popped through his door!

Cheers for that info mate, I had previously contacted hr and she said I could expect an email so hoping I do, doubt a contract would come through to external candidates without passing a medical first?

A guy I know got an email within 24 hours after his final interview saying he was unsuccessful, this was only a few weeks ago with FSR then there are other guys on this very forum who have heard absolutely nothing for over a year after passing all the assessments......then they get a job offer lol

Senshi you may hear absolutely nothing so make sure they keep hearing from you, call them up every day or two?? My mate was in this same position exactly 2 years ago, he was due to go on holiday and heard nothing so he kept calling up Sandra........he got in

I'm not sure I agree with ringing H R every day or two - they do have a railway to run at the same time you know and if that was happenning to my lot then you would go no further than the rejection pile

I know you're all desperate for a drivers job but I hope you are set in the mind properly for a rejection because I know it can hurt like hell for something you really really want.

I do wish you the best though.

I didnt mean to sound as if he harassed the poor folk lol but he did make a few calls mainly because they kept saying they would be in touch alot quicker than they actually were
