That’s it! I found when I was studying that they were the harder set of tests aswell so I’m as confident as one can be in this situation!
I am, well, was. Irvine now! Originally a Stevenston boy funnily enough. I was in the blacklands unfortunately. Where are you?

Sorry, but that's conflicting with what the North Regional Manager told me at the DMI last month and what I was told at the MMI today.
They were hopeful that the candidates they're currently looking at for my depot, will start training December/January, although more than likely the latter.

It's likely that both situations are correct. The recruitment is very depot specific, and current vacancies/instructor availability drives the induction dates as and when needed

That’s gutting mate! That’s my fear, spending all this time get to the end and not get the job
Unlucky man! I wouldn't let it get you down too much mate. I failed the DMI at my first attempt and start my training next week. Keep your chin up and go for it again 100%.

Did you just sit the DMI again or through the whole process?
I went straight to DMI first and then sit assessment 1 again as the results had expired.

Was in today for the 2nd assessment. Everything was fine. However the joysticks part are more trickier and sensitive than I thought! We also completed a pre interview form for our mmi next time we’re in.
Yeah, I was in for stage 2 today as well and think I've messed up the joysticks part.. I think I focused too much on speed and wasn't accurate enough. I found the vigilance part to be quite easy. The bit with an image shown for a sec and you having to recall what was on it wasn't easy but ai think I did ok. They said we will get the results within a week.

I just got that exact email today sent too me. Wee bit taken back by it to be honest but am guessing it’s down to fitting people in and dates maybe.. am not sure how it all works, maybe someone in here can explain it better.

Do you mean traction courses for each traction/conversion course or practical handling with instructor to learn to drive?

I think most of it will be at corkerhill for Glasgow Central trainees ( traction course) . And I’m assuming when it comes to the practical handling with instructor that will be at my depot.
