Hi, I have an e ticket from Selby to fort William, which I have successfully used. Scanned fine at all the gatelines but made the rejection sound on both ScotRail services I travelled on. Was accepted no problem between Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street and was indeed accepted between Queen Street and Fort William though the guard seemed unsure and asked a few questions but in the end was passed and said we can't scan them yet
Does anyone know why such tickets are fulfilled as etickets when normally TOCs that lack the scanning facilities insist on CCST/PRT?
Also does anyone envisage any difficulty on my way back?
