Scheme project manager

Does anyone know the difference between a scheme project manager and a project manager? Also how many hours a week is standard for network rail full time office positions?

Not exactly. Different Band (hence pay) responsibility, experience etc.

Normally the SPM is a direct report to the PM. So the PM is the higher graded person so they're not the same. Although 35 hours are the contracted hours most PM's exceed that figure. Best of luck if you're applying for a post.

From a supplier point of view the SPMs seem to do the day-to-day on specific contracts, whereas the PMs have more of an oversight role.

Hi all,

A friend of mine has an interview in the coming weeks for the position of Assistant Project Engineer.

Does anyone have information such as job role, interview format or anything else you think would help? It's based in Swindon if that helps
