Anything is cheaper than a Mach3.
Good blade but very expensive, I switched to DE and straight blade shaving after being persuaded to visit a traditional barber in London, Trumpher's is one of the big 3 Ts oldest barbers the other two are Truffitt & Hill "oldest barber in operation" and Taylor's of Old Bond St.
I was given the full works hot towel, lather, shave and cold towel with a face massage, certainly got pampered, I was hooked and brought loads of shaving soaps, traditional aftershave and cologne, worked out a lot cheaper than Mach3, ended up going down the rabbit hole And brought loads vintage shaving soaps and aftershave, the oldest dated from 1935, I have several Old Spice shaving soaps from the 70s and I use one of the them as part of my rotation.
Razor blades from Dovo, Feathers, Rapira, Personna and of course Derby extra, D R Harris is also another source of shaving stuff.
I've got enough to last me a few years and saving money.
Whenever I visit London I like to treat myself to a posh shave, it's not cheap but it's a treat for me to experience traditional shaving with all the works.
