The following was a question on Robert Elms Radio London show today - here is a link to a picture on the shows Facebook page. Can any forum members help?

Well, while Winchmore Hill is in a cutting, it's platforms are opposite each other - so that can't be the location in the original picture. It would seem that the abode of the photographer might be a bit of a red herring?At a guess it's staggered platforms plus a goods loop.
Agreed. Struggling to find info about GE route codes online, which might narrow it down, but from the houses it might be London suburbs. Can't identify a possible station though.
LNER signals, BR era Way Out sign (not tangerine so not NER), but that doesn't add anything new.
