Hi MrWhippyO
One of the best routes around - and still available for BVE 4 is The Network West Midlands routes available from here...
http://bve4.net/
a red light on the left of the screen, lights up and the loco grinds to a halt
You need to press these....
Insert - AWS reset Auto Warning System warns of signals at approach/danger (Yellow or Red)
Page Up - TPWS Reset Keeps you alert and makes sure you have not fell asleep!
Also speeding and passing a signal at danger will bang that red light on and the emergency brakes will be applied!
You only have a few seconds to respond to these warnings!
Hope that helps!
Actually that's the vigilance device. Not TPWS.Delete - TPWS Reset Keeps you alert and makes sure you have not fell asleep

To put it very simply, driver holds pedal on floor with foot. It beeps if it detects no movement of controls for a certain amount of time and the driver must remove and then replace his foot within a certain amount of time otherwise the train will stop.
But that has nothing to do with what is being talked about?
Don't forget to visit www.eezypeazy.co.uk too for his excellent routes. These include his own ECML, Tyne Valley and Aln Valley routes as well as Alan Hudnott's beautiful East Lincolnshire Railway, Barrow - Carlisle, and Tom Beevers' Piccadilly Line.
