Please could I ask if anyone can confirm with reasonable certainty currently if the 3J51 circuit with the 37s will finish on 7/8 December or will it be running until Sat 14/ Sun 15 Dec?
Many thanks

A driver told me that it was running until '15th Dec earliest' and also there is a STP path in place for the 15th December 3J51 meaning it should run

Many thanks indeed, when making the trip from Inverness it's great to be as sure as possible (given the necessity of Voyager or Azuma!) totally worth it if running until the 15th. Thanks

It really depends on what Mother nature is doing. After Storm Bert the trees in my road are looking very bare so not much more in the way of leaves left to fall. We have another storm tonight aiui. So if my road is anything to go by there will be no leaves left to fall by the end of November.

It is then just a matter of how long it takes those fallen leaves to disappear. In my road it might one day be the council but generally I would say it is when the wind has blown them into dead corners, the rain has stuck them to the ground and/or the worms have dragged them under.

I expect this is a daft question, but is the reason diesel locos hauling RHTTs being notably dirtier than normal because that's where some of what's sprayed off the rails ends up?

well thats a wrap for this year's Yorkshire circuits, in the end only three 37s were featured, all Colas, no HNRC ones this year.

I assume @jamdav1012 is referring to the fact that those were the three 37s used on the Yorkshire RHTTs? If you look at the previous post that’s what was mentioned, and I thought the message was clear enough?

Indeed although responding almost two months later without quoting the post which is referred to probably caused some confusion.
