Yes, it does. Silly me ;)

:p

Before I forget to ask, have you received timings from NR at all yet? As I might have to simply stop in Hereford and get the shots there vice getting on the tour (very long story, I'll not bore you all). A rough time through Hereford would do!

We haven't received the timings just yet, though I expect someone to find them, and leak them onto the internet in the next few days!

And, go on, come along, even if it's only from Shrewsbury :P

Problem is my Y-P expires on 7th April and it'll be a case of one or the other, not both as things stand.

I've still no idea what will be going on, things have taken an unexpected turn here so everything's up in the air.

Thanks for all that.

'Electric Train Supply' sounds a bit wrong. Like someone's supplying an 86 plus stock or a 333 or something. 'Train electricity supply' would be better IYAM.

Still can't make it (I'm based down south these days with no RCD so no chance of affording it). Will be out down this way somewhere for the phot, at least it's not going to involve being up and about too early for that!

Any chance of you fixing either 309 or 311 for the 57 bit?

I found a bunch of leaflets for the Retro Avon Grid tour at the station which I guess someone dropped off, and they are now next to the booking office windows, in the hope some people will see them when buying tickets and go for a trip out.

Ahhh, thank you very much :)

I left them with the booking office clerk last Wednesday, and he said he would ask his supervisor (who is apparently a 'train enthusiast'!) if he was OK to put them out.

None of the supervisors are enthusiasts really! I guess the booking office supervisor is a bit. They would have just sat upstairs getting dusty though, so I figured they woul be more used to you downstairs. Chatting to the booking office lads today, they've been going pretty well, lots of people have taken them so hopefully you will get a rush of bookings from Wilmslow.

Excellent to hear. Fingers crossed the potential interest through leaflets being taken will convert into bookings for James.

Those timings are good, it has to be said. Any gen on where the stock comes in from, via and when it arrives?

Crewe 0500
Huddersfield 0618
Bradley Wood Jn 0626 - 0638
Huddersfield 0648

Leaves from Platform 1 at Huddersfield, back into platform 8. Platform 3 both times at Bristol, I think that is under the roof?

Platform 3 at Bristol is indeed under the roof, right by the exit from the station. Bear in mind platform allocations at Bristol always change.

Not always, but often.

Thanks for posting those Chester025, I'm booked to arrive into Huddersfield at 0532, so will be in position bright and early for the ECS! :D

I have been informed that 56311 & 312 have been started up today, with their MU tested, which proved to be in working order.

I am very much looking forward to Monday!

Bring it on then I say! Glad to hear they're confirmed as working A-OK! :D

See you in the morning, I'm off on a series of doss and cheapskate moves to Huddersfield in about 15 minutes :)

Didn't think it would be Virgin MK3s, look very nice behind the Virgin 57.

Here, I hope you appreciated that bang on time departure from Wilmslow. Although you were about 7mins early and I therefore had to hold you
