I bought via the Eastcoast website two lots of three Advance tickets (i.e. two transactions for six tickets, three outward and three back) for the end of this month.

Due to various circs we cannot now use these tickets. I *think* I can request a refund at a cost of £10 admin fee (although I'm not 100% sure of that), but if they are refundable, would the admin charge be £10 per ticket or £10 per booking? Not worth the bother if per ticket as they were only £12 each anyway.

The terms of Advance tickets state that a refund is not available.

Tickets that can be refunded (e.g. Off Peak, Anytime) are charged at £10 per ticket. A £12 ticket gets you back £2.

Oh, okay. Thought I'd just ask anyway. Thanks for clarifying.

I've had refunds before but only when the train has been cancelled. Obviously no admin fee on those occasions.

You can *change* AP tickets for £10. However your start and end points must be the same and you must pay the difference if the tickets you change to are more expensive. You do not get anything back if they are cheaper.

Keep an eye on the LDB's online on the day to see if the service(s) are delayed as you may then be able to claim delay repay.
