<Victor Meldrew mode> I don't belieeeeve it! In contrast to the other week where I went for something (76084) and got a dud "Austerity" instead; this week I went for a required "Austerity" (no. 22) and got bowled out when that failed.

Did however get my first recorded journey behind 46521 though I am 99.9% certain that I have had it in the dim and distant past before I started writing things down.

72121 on the 13:12 Paris Est - Belfort (CIC 1741) as far as Troyes.

Hour and a half in Troyes, before 72147 hauled me back to Paris on the 13:20 Belfort - Paris Est (CIC 1840). Added bonus of having a compartment on the way back too.

You do know the 1995 sets aren't in strict pairs don't you? Many are consecutive, but lots of them are not, and some of the consecutive pairings are even number lowest.

Certainly units 51717 and 51718 do not work together as they are both de-icing units...

Yeah I do, unfortunately when I first started documenting them I didn't notice this, as the first few sets I checked were in fact consecutive. The only way to 'correct' that would be to start again, which I couldn't really face for 106 units on a line I don't use very often
