Very glad to have got three 90s on the two sleeper journeys: 90018, 90024 and 90036. The reversal at Wembley Yard certainly helped. :)

No winning 67s though. :(

My next mission is 139002. Having been to Stourbridge five times now and had 139001 every single time.

Only need 43047 from the EMT HSTs, which remains elusive, and 43285/43301 for the XC HSTs.

BB21, the 139s normally operate one week on, one week off alternating. If you have 001 every day one week in theory you should have 002 every day the next week, provided neither of them requires an unscheduled repair!

Ah yes, 43047...

About 10 years ago, this was the only one of the 199 I'd never seen.

It came to pass that the Heritage Shunters Trust and peakrail were having a gala. I went on the Sunday, and to combine gronk-scooping with track-bashing did a Derbyshire Ranger (the Buxton and Matlock branches were both new territory) and came home via Derby and Sheffield. The connection at Derby was tight, so I didn't get the chance to identify the rear power car until arrival at Sheffield (via Barrow Hill and Darnall) and was pleased to find 047 3/4 hour after it started shoving me :)

301 was my last XC HST to get, it doesn't seem to get out as much as the others! 285 isn't exactly high in terms of mileage for me either, you've got two of he trickier ones there.

Scored D9521 earlier today on the Dean Forest but missed out on D9555 as it decided that it didn't want to come out to play :(
(Had to put up with dud 31466 instead)

An impromptu trip to Birmingham on Thursday scored me the following:

150107 (last LM 150)
153364 (my last LM 153 was sadly on Bedford-Bletchleys)
158823
170502/511
323201 - cleared the class at last! After 2 failed attemps last year I finally got 201!
350119/123/247/257
390010/104/138/156

I probably could've got a few more bits but I didn't venture over to Moor St for Chiltern things, spent some time doing 153364 which was on Nuneaton-Coventry shuttles, and I got stuck in a farce around Marston Green where all trains ground to a halt due to signalling problems. Had to catch a service bus back into Birmingham which took ages and wasted valuable nedding time. Also ignore my forum sig, my last cop was not 170510. It's not been entered into Railmiles before but I had it way back in 2007 when it burst at Belper.

In the last few weeks I can add 317339, 315845, 315852 and 315854. That's all 61 315s now crossed off!

Still adding them one at a time here (hope this will change next week ;)), had a nice surprise with "Coal Tank" 1054 making an appearance on the GCR this afternoon

071: 072 on the Sligo tour.

Plus afew units and LUAS trams.

Then on Saturday while making my home via North Wales and Merseyside.
150282
150283

The ship in the wee small hours of Saturday morning was also a red pen. Stena Nordica on the 0215 Dublin-Holyhead now takes foot passengers.

What did you think of the 29000 Class units, if you did them? Or did you do some 22000 Class 'Rotem' or DART units?

Did abit of everything. From a normal passenger view, I would say the 22000 Class units are very good, comfortable.

The other DMUs and DART EMU's are basic, but do the job that they were built for very well.

Fair games. Personally for noise I like the 29000s the best, general comfort though the 22000s are excellent. 81xx DARTs are the best too, hopefully when I'm over there in just under 2 weeks I'll get to get on some :)
