Yes - this would have been Mk 2F 5837 in it's previous life

In fairness, they have been rebuilt from chassis up (some of the earlier NZ exports largely only have door modifications and so remain easily recognisable as Mk II)

Makes you wonder why the same isn't being done here in the UK, what with Long Marston (or wherever) packed with Mark 2e/f coaches and a general need for more rolling stock

Example- 67 (or 90), a few of those coaches, DVT. To all intents to the passenger a sparkling new train.

I beg your pardon? I just informed if this has something to do with Brittish trains, because at the first sight this looks just like a random coach from New Zealand. No hard feelings!

Even if the cost of purchase of the coaches is cheap, the cost of transporting them all the way to New Zealand must be quite high!
