Throw it on the floor then if you don't want to eat it!I find it very hard to leave food on my plate. It just doesn't feel right,

I suppose I could get the dog involved, it would save on washing up and I've heard that their saliva is a natural antiseptic.
Unless he vomits on them in which case you'll need some antipetsick.
That's actually quite good.
Rhetorical understatement is obviously your forte.
Bits are bits, regardless of how fast you're receiving them. So no, it shouldn't make any difference. What I was wondering was, if the phone is struggling to get data like it does if I'm near the back of the house, is it using more of my precious 4GB a month than if it's coming through properly when I'm nearer the front or in garden?

Evening. A bit of advice about mobile data needed from clever types please.
I'm working in a valley on Dartmoor at the moment and I can just about get internet on the phone. I've got I think 4GB data a month so occasionally I'll listen to the radio online to pass the lonely hours (I can only pick up radio 2 on FM there and I can't cope with most of it).

I don't know if this is a silly question really. Hopefully I'm about to find out though.
(By the way I have to go over this bridge every morning to get there and there's only 1.5 inches of clearance on each side. I think what's left in the middle is probably what the last driver of a van did when he crossed it)
Thanks for that. It was getting way too sensible in here for a while. If you listen to slow tempo music you'll use less bits per second - probably.

Indeed, various horror stories online from parents that have received huge bills because of their youngsters listening to dumb and brass.
Yes. I think I'll just listen to radio 3 from now on. All cultured like.
Surely Radio 3 uses half as many bits again as Radio 2, the numbers give it away. You want this Radio Zero
But if I click on it I bet you've wired it up to something that uses 4Gigglebix of data in thirty seconds. You can't trust anyone, not even someone who lives next door to the beast.
I'm hurt (and a little flattered) by that suggestion however I'll offer one more idea:
Get a semiconducting cover for your phone, that will rectify the incoming radio waves so you only get half of the signal and use only half the bits...probably.
I love how this thread is always a calm oasis of rational fact based discussion. And not shoes on head mental.
Although a stiletto would be quite the talking point of hats and headgear.
This thread is where I come for all life advice now. I feel certain that the advice given is the best available.
It is strong and stable.
Going home to my wife and a cold beer in the fridge. Simple pleasures are always the best.
One thong to note is the fact that sound fragments over low bit-rates, buy yourself a MW/LW radio and you can listen to R5L and R4LW!Evening. A bit of advice about mobile data needed from clever types please.

Strong drink and fast women, that's hardly good advice.
I'd say its excellent advice. Maybe if this was Российский железнодорожный форум it would be fast drink and strong women though.
