Just had someone fly a microlight over the garden, not seen one of those for a while, I couldn't work out where the noise was coming from at first.

That looks like a powered paraglider, rather than a microlight.

Youngest daughter (aged 21 and studying for her degree) announced on the phone tonight that she's had a tattoo done. My wife and I are not at all fussed but God help her when she tells both sets of grand parents! Her problem not ours :D

Luckily I was taking a photo of the sky when it flew past.

LOL!

I think she wanted a reaction from both of you, you know, the typical "God, what have you done this time?".

Guess she failed on getting that to work! :D

Ps, was it a permanent one?

None of ours have gone for the tattoo yet although various piercings have appeared. Like you say it's telling the grandparents is the uncomfortable bit.

I just thought of the integers from 1 to 20 in monotonic increasing order.

Will this get deleted as being off topic in a random thoughts thread?

I've enlarged and digitally (with my finger) enhanced the image and it appears what you saw was a long curved blob and a smaller blob shaped blob.

That's not important right now.
What did NajaB say Dale? You understand clever things.

If you thought of even numbers with your left brain and odd numbers with your right brain would that be stereotonic?

Oh yes its permanent. If Florence wanted a reaction from her parents all the little swine would have to do is be filmed running around butt naked. Much cheaper.

Clearly you are very rural Mr C. If I took a picture at that time of night it might well feature an aircraft on its way into Heathrow!

Well yes but if I turn around it looks like this.

I find myself wondering what I could turn this sentence into?
(they are friends with a good sense of humour)

The best I can come up with so far:

CHLOE'S WET COW HELMET

Brilliant. I couldn't get beyond WE COME TO CHEW THE LLS. I considered making up a new 'I' to make it 'ILLS' but decided that it still wouldn't have been that funny.

Do they drink whisky? If so this may be the result.

THE MELLOW SCOTCH WEE

I'm not there now but I think I am next week so I shall rearrange them and show you the result. Like the whiskey one.
