Another problem I've had with my bank. I paid in some money and kept a note of the serial numbers; when I came to withdraw it they gave me someone else's money, the numbers were different. What happened to my money and how can they be so incompetent?

I've just discovered this thread, which reminds me of the Banality thread on the WNXX forum once upon a time. I've not been on there for years, so I doubt it even runs now.

The ALR planning is finally nearly complete, which has taken some time but, importantly, we are now just 53 full days away from it beginning! 52 full days until my 9-4 shift and the positioning move to Cardiff to meet up with Blindtraveller for what is going to turn into 8 days of solid bashing!
In related news, I'm stopping doing Live Trip Reports on Twitter.

Well this afternoon it was raining so my son got the lego out and I attempted to build a lego 50. Harder than it looks actually, I'm going to try again in the morning as I've done the thing too tall and I've realised that I haven't (sorry I mean my son hasn't) got much yellow lego.
Anyway it's going to be motorised and if I can get it to look half decent I'll stick a picture of it in the modelling section.

. In other news, the exchange girl has been released from hospital and sent back to France via Brittany Ferries at Plymouth. She left an earring behind apparently and some pantaloons (trousers). I don't know if we'll do this again to be honest.

Line of Duty was required viewing on BBC1 in my house, Mind you the best thing I've watched recently was a DVD with vintage clips of the old signal boxes on the GEML near Norwich and the re-opening of Trowse Station for one week only in 1986 while Norwich station was remodelled. Happy memories

Sounds like something that really couldn't happen in this day and age with so many services to Norwich. Not that a blockade would be that severe, except for possibly re-signalling the whole station

I really like daisies but I have to keep chopping off their heads. Why do they grow only in lawns? I wish someone would invent a lawn mower that cuts the grass but leaves the daisies alone
