Got another quiz here, the questions focus mostly around British Railways and preserved lines, history and a few random general knowledge questions for a bit of added fun.

With regards the Esk Valley Line, the route is wholly within North Yorkshire. Cleveland was abolished in 1996 and areas immediately south of the Tees were restored to Yorkshire for 'cultural and ceremonial' purposes. I thought I'd mention that to avoid any obvious confusion.

Interesting quiz in that it reminded of about no 19 (Renaissance Trains?) which I'd entirely forgotten about! I wonder if it'll happen...

Glasgow Trains, the next planned project from Renaissance Trains. Due to start this year. Doubt it, but I hope it does come to fruition. They're no longer going to split at Preston, but will run to Nottingham via Leeds and the Settle&Carlisle line apparently.

14: 25mph except to lower speed restrictions, GCR can run at 60mph when demonstrating Mail operations and not in passenger use
