We have a winner! Yes, 1873 was the year when Urmston railway station opened, also Flixton, Irlam, Glazebrook and Warrington Central & possibly one or two others on that section of CLC line.1873..........................?
I don't know about that - it's something else rather more visually obvious ( once you know what it is ) that I have in mind.Still fitted with cross-arm pantographs instead of the later Brecknell-Willis type?
