The S160 isn't what I had in mind, but you are right to think of a steam locomotive. The locomotive in question was built in the UK. Either the number or the type will do.

It was another railway company predating the LMS, which also knew the value of PR.

The LNWR were the builders, and being the PR experts they published a photo of the locomotive and the men who built it. Care to take a punt at what class of loco it was?

No, sorry. Too many wheels on that one. Some examples survived into the British Railways era, but none survived into preservation.
