Question about South America: defined as the countries of the continental land-mass east and south of the Colombia / Panama border.
At “rail peak”, many South American countries were served by a huge, basically interconnected and international (though multi-gauge) rail network (plus some isolated lines). Please list those countries in South America which at any time had public railways; but which were not, at all, on this interconnected network.
There is one country which it would seem equally valid to include in such a list; and not to include it. It will be reckoned correct either to include this country, or not.
(After some 36 hours -- anyone like a clue? Or do people just basically not do South America?
