Class 90 Locos are named after them...?
Have they, perchance, since had their names removed?
Correct. Since deltic gave the floor, it's yours now.
I can't claim to have thought it up this morning: I had this one in reserve.Wow - this is a brain teaser for 5.38am in the morning!
How about:-
Penrhyn Quarry Railway - 1ft 10.75in.
Ffestiniog Railway [originally built for slate] - 1ft 11.5in.
Croesor Tramway - 2ft.
Corris Railway - 2ft 3in.
Padarn Railway - 4ft.
That's a good list, but there's only half an inch between the Ffestiniog and Croesor gauges, so I put them in the same pigeon-hole. Can you find a different one?
I only read your small print after I'd typed my answer.
Mea culpa.
Can I substitute the Carnarvonshire[sic] Slate Quarries Railway to Nantille, at a gauge of 3ft. 6ins?
Blackpool Central - Blackpool & Lytham Railway
Leeds Central - LYR/LNWR/GNR/NER joint
Liverpool Central (High Level) - CLC
St Helens Central - GCR (the original St Helens Central, not the current one, nee Shaw Street)
Wigan Central - GCR
Southport Central - West Lancashire Railway
Godstone - Junction 6 CORRECT
Swanley - Junction 3 CORRECT
Denham - Junction 16 CORRECT
Potters Bar - Junction 24 CORRECT
Waltham Cross - Junction 25 CORRECT
I'm not sure if all of those names are official, but I know that some of them definitely are.
Correct, and apologies again for my lateness, perhaps I should just leave my correct answers as an open floor in future!
Your floor.
I presume you mean a station on the NR Network that isn't operated by them?
