A 200 year old Boulton and Watt beam engine at Crofton Pumping Station, Marlborough, Wiltshire.

The Crofton one is correct. Although now replaced by electric pumps in normal use, on steaming days the 200 yr old B & W still does the job it was built to do & pump the canal.

Recently I illustrated a "printers proof" ticket. Occasionally tickets slipped through the proof reading stage and were printed with errors.
The attached illustrated ticket printed by BR in the 1960s was delivered to the booking office but the keen eyed booking clerk spotted the printing error and they were not issued. Spot the misprint..?

You are correct.

The tickets were ordered by Bishopstone station but was in error printed as Bishopsbourne.
Incidentally Bridge and Barham were less than 3 miles distant from Bishopbourne on the Elham Valley Line.

b) No Longer Have Railways

c) have railways, but not standard Gauge
Kenya, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Swaziland
