Westminster was verified from London Underground web site.
I have walked many times from Cannon Street station along "Walbrook" which seems to be a slow steady incline. Cannon Street station is high above the "Thames".

Wasn't arguing with the answer, apologies if it seemed that way, I was more surprised that the City is so far above the Thames as I thought the reason for building the Thames Barrier was to stop City traders from getting wet feet...

Odd fact from 'Coast': Geographers consider London to be on the coast as they deem anywhere that is tidal to be coastal!

The city was historically built on a hill above the surrounding marshland and some names still survive to indicate this- Ludgate Hill, Tower Hill, etc. Other parts of London's business area are low lying including Westminster and the Houses of Parliament ,Docklands, Canary Wharf, etc.

I'll take colour light signals. They were however mostly not three aspect but instead simply displayed the aspects that semaphores would have done.

Used again briefly for holiday traffic during the summers of 1938 & 1939 under the name Kinmel Bay Halt.
Now gone completely.
