Wasn't one of them named Thor to replace the one named Thor that was written off. Don't know it's d number but was 47 091.
d1671 was the written off loco & d1677 was then given the name.
If correct, What was 08 600 named when in departmental use?
Correct. What was the other departmental 08 at the time called?
Thomas was 08500 at Doncaster was it not? I don't recall it entering departmental stock.

A dedicated group are hoping to reopen a line which is still connected to Network Rail.
This line is classed as a siding and is 10 miles long, where is it ?
East Anglia.

Correct, I will let you off spelling Wisbech wrong![]()
I'm hazarding Gresley A3 "Papyrus" at 108 mph. Crew? Was it Joe Duddington and Tommy Bray again?
Not the one I was thinking of. This one has had two names during its time as part of the national network and the third in preservation.
