As posted by captainbigun on wnxx the Pretendolino is now DVT-less as they are both at Eastleigh having bogie swaps the mark 3 set will be out of action.
Ah, so that's why the rake was all split up at Wembley this morning. The DVTs must have been moved down to Eastleigh during the day.

Are the two DVTs having bogies swapped between them then? It seems a bit pointless retaining 82101 as a spare if it is out of use at the same time as the usual DVT, 82126.

Will the 1843 Euston-Crewe be formed by something else then, or cancelled on the day?

The dvt is the brake vehicle so can't run without it.

Theoretically the guard could be in the back cab, but many operational reasons why this wouldn't actually happen. The first day of Hull Trains 86101 was set to be like this (until the class 87 failed and it was caped).

depends how long a boggie swap takes

A day?

I doubt it as mark 2s are only 100mph coaches plus Virgin guards will only sign mark 3s.

Are there any 110mph-capable mark 1 BG left on the network? (Just for interest, rather than a serious suggestion that one could actually be used.
