Pretendolino has been running a bit more lately as we keep putting major flats on a lot of 390 sets & it seemed to be covering a set a day last week as they recieved lathe attention. However less slippy this week (although 390011 I had tonight was fubared in the A end with wheel flats). BTW there is a staff cash incentive scheme at the moment that rewards staff for selling a charter using the Pretendolino, so if you fancy lining my pockets then group together, talk to me & hire it!!
Oh & I feel bad for 33056 with the travel sickness, real shame as 390's are awesome fun especially up front. I even have a list of my fav curves now. Linslade down fast to Stoke Hammond being one of them & it never fails to make me smile hitting Rugby south flyover on the down main at 125mph with the tilt bottomed out.
On another note, how many people just like moaning. I had some stupid bint having ago at me at Euston, talking about tilting trains upsetting her stomach & making her feel ill after arriving on a southbound service I worked the other day. I just stood there & listened to her talk crap... Why crap? well my 390 (044) had been TASS isolated from the start so no EPS speeds & no tilt at all bar the cant.
