hi first capital connect have issued me an intention to prosecute.
i was on a train without a ticket, i told the inspector i would pay at the next station, this was verbally agreed.
Arriving at st pancreas, he called a collegue over, after offering to pay i was told that i could not and that my details were needed.
I refused to give them, british transport police were called in, i was held by the barriers for 30 mins. Eventually one of the btp's took a letter from my pocket, WITHOUT my consent and have the details to the inspector.
On the intention to prosecute, they have my address right but my first name wrong.
I am told by legal advise they have six months to bring it to court and not to respond to the letter.
Does anyone have any experience or advice.
Kind thanks.
(my phone also mysteriously went missing)
