OpenBVE Freezing

Hi, basically I came back, after a while, to play some OpenBVE. Last time I played it it ran fine but now it freezes randomly and then skips slightly.

Any thoughts?

Mine does this on both my PC and netbook ...

I think it might be something in the settings but I'm not really sure ...

Just out of interest what are your system specifications?

I've been fiddling with the settings, as suggested on another site but with little effect.

I often experience this problem. Make sure you have no unnecessary programs running in the background as BVE take up a lot of CPU.

Its odd, it was all fine until the latest version of the program :(

in the options.cfg file, try using

loadInAdvance = true

this will prevent stutterng occurring when objects etc are loaded during gameplay.

Yeah done that, it did seem to improve it slightly.

Using version v1.2.13.0
