OpenBVE Freezing

Hi, basically I came back, after a while, to play some OpenBVE. Last time I played it it ran fine but now it freezes randomly and then skips slightly.

Any thoughts?

Mine does this on both my PC and netbook ...

I think it might be something in the settings but I'm not really sure ...

Any particular routes/trains that it happens on or it is everything?

Also what are your openBVE settings? Could you post a screenshot?

I've been fiddling with the settings, as suggested on another site but with little effect.

I often experience this problem. Make sure you have no unnecessary programs running in the background as BVE take up a lot of CPU.

Its odd, it was all fine until the latest version of the program

in the options.cfg file, try using

loadInAdvance = true

this will prevent stutterng occurring when objects etc are loaded during gameplay.

What version you have? I got latest version & no probs with mine.

Yeah done that, it did seem to improve it slightly.
