Starting a northbound journey on Chiltern from South Ruislip, the first off peak journey of the day is stated on journey planners as departing SRU at 0923 using the Central line to connect with the 0932 Chiltern service at West Ruislip towards High Wycombe.
I know that travelling between West/South Ruislip on the Central line isn't usually an issue when using a national rail ticket, but is it likely that I'd have an issue using the ticket before TfL's off peak starts? I assume the automatic barriers may well reject the ticket for this reason but if staff insisted on not accepting the ticket until 0930, having to wait an hour at West Ruislip would be inconvenient to say the least.
Thanks for any advice.
