Just had a tweet off NYM official twitter feed to say due to an Engineering incident, no trains expected running Saturday 3rd from Pickering.
Posted the other tweets below hope it helps someone No idea what the incident is hope its not a bridge damage or landslip

Notice: anyone travelling on the Pullman 3rd Jan due to depart Pickering at 12.00. This service is now departing from Levisham YO18 7NN,

Informed this incident is resolved whatever it was and normal service from Pickering Sunday expected and also on website now

On Sunday 4th January we intend to run our normal Sunday Winter service between Pickering and Whitby.

Apologies for the disruption caused to passengers today (Saturday 3rd January) due to an engineering fault. Thank you for supporting us and being patient with the NYMR throughout this difficult time.

Please continue to check our website, Facebook and Twitter accounts for all the latest and most up to date information. Or call customer services between 9.30am and 4.30pm.

No idea of accuracy, but I've seen a post on another forum saying a tender being shunted derailed.
