Not to worry, all you need is the train time. I'll edit my above post to include the train destinations - that way you know you'll be on the right one.Yes but on the tickets it doesn't state which company at all.

If you have a look at my previous post, the stations I've underlined are where you need to get off (and change trains) and the stations I've made bold is what it'll say on the front of the train, and what it'll say on the electronic information boards.Oh you are a god send!
I asked the man at the station and he just shugged his sholders at me.
If i need the train time only then i think i will be ok

The 5 minutes at Tamworth should be okay if the OP is a quick walker and doesn't have too much luggage, but I agree that a longer interchange time would be preferable, especially with the OP being new to UK rail. That return journey is a heck of a tour around the midlands, and the change at Tamworth looks a bit shaky, especially if the Northampton train is a little late.
What time did you eventually get back to Nottingham station?I did my Journey however the train got me late to Tamworth and made me miss my connecting train! they admit it was there fault and i had to get on the cross county one at 21:09 the man at tamworth told me to get on it for free?
That appears to be an overall delay of 29 minutes to your journey. That's a mild annoyance because if the delay was 30 minutes you could have got 50% of your Advance ticket back as vouchers - so something to be aware of in the future.I got back at 22:10
London Midland tweeted me and they checked and said it was a 6 minute delay which they say it was there fault

They gave you £55 back?!They gave me £55 back with a letter to.
i was kind of scare because i had no ticket for the next train lol.
Well you've done very well for yourself! That's above and beyond what they'd have to pay out for a 30 minute delay to your journey.yes and to a letter from them saying they was sorry etc.
