I noticed the full-height window that used to be between the taxi rank and the travel centre is unchanged from before the refurbishment, complete with double arrow on one pane, despite every other window in sight having been replaced. I've a feeling this dates from before privatisation.
Since the station signage was replaced by EMT, I think the only other 'signage' remaining from pre-EMT days is the trolley stations by the stairs on P1/5. That said, I think there is also a 'Nottingham Midland' light still near P2.
I'm also so very glad they kept and restored all of the analogue clocks, especially the big one in the porte cochere. I still remember fondly also the old digital clocks, of the style still at Kings Cross P9-11, amongst other stations.
