Crikey. Guess you can go fairly far on a £1.50 single on Supertram, should consider myself lucky.Becoming rare to find much under £2 for a single anywhere nowadays, other than short hops within a town/city. Operators want to encourage Day/Week tickets wherever possible.
i dunno off a very trustworthy honest friend on fb i could find out though
If by new you mean ex orange line and before that brown line, then yes they'll be new!
Oh, alright! Quite a surprise on the 30!!!
Yes they were
Pink Line 30: City > Jubilee Campus > Wollaton > Bramcote > Wollaton Vale.
A revised timetable is introduced, with the Monday to Saturday daytime service enhanced to every 15 minutes. Additional time has been added to Monday to Friday peak buses towards the City to better reflect the traffic along Wollaton Road and at Crown Island.
Service is converted to midi-buses and will feature audio announcements.
NCT should have just put the single upto £1.90. Most people would have paid £2 anyway.
Breaking the 'mental' £2 barrier will just encourage people to walk or get the bike. A 17% increase doesn't sound good on paper either.

Because they are a greedy unethical company.
Anyone noticed how little leg room there is on their buses compared to NCT?
It's a sign of desperation.

As for Premiere without them we'd still be travelling to Long Eaton etc via Beeston City Centre and the Chilwell estates. TB didn't send any buses down the Long Eaton corridor before Red5 came along. Why? Because they are a greedy unethical company.

They've been handing out cereal bars and juices for a while now (both of which are bad for you by the way). It's a sign of desperation.
The new name for the combined 'xprss' & 'Radcliffe Line' is the 'Rushcliffe Greens'![]()
interesting. Wonder if the pronto changes are anything to do with the fact stagecoach drivers struggle to cover the route in the same time as trent barton? Also, wasn't the connect's route changed only recently?where'd you get that info? No sign on TB website.
IMO, anyone who slags off TB & NCT hasn't used buses elsewhere in the country (or has another agenda). There is a reason why both keep winning awards
Announced on Twitter yesterday:
I've written three letters of complaint to them so far this year to complain about drivers leaving stops early (in one instance, 6 minutes early), and they've not bothered replying to me once.

I'm currently living in a monopoly area for one of the big bus companies, and it really is horrible having to try to get anywhere. They have no reason to bother trying to provide a better service or to innovate at all - there isn't even a PTE to force them to buck their ideas up. It really is a breath of fresh air travelling by public transport when I'm back in Nottingham.
IIRC, NCT have/had a target of buses being no more than 1 min early and 5 mins late from each stop. Here in MK I have often (i.e. daily) missed buses because they leave up to 5 mins early
10. The Traffic Commissioners role includes the following:
· Ensuring that operators meet the window of tolerance which is currently no more
than 1 minute early or 5 minutes late for 95% of the services operated

Funny that.
I have no wish to slag them off. They are a good company, but they are far from being perfect or beyond criticism.

If anyone's tolerating regularly not meeting that window I'd mention it to the TC.
