Got an email today inviting me to an interview next week, anybody else heard from them?

Hi, for anyone who is interested I had my interview today, felt it went ok, but we'll see, keep thinking of things I should have said and things I missed out, but nothing I can do now.

Anyway, I asked the interviewing guys how many trainees they are looking for and they said they had had 1600 applicants and there are around 30 vacancies available, said they are setting 4 trainees a month on at the end of each month. They want enough drivers by December 2017 when I believe they will be getting some new trains.

Also, interview very laid back, must have asked 6-8 situation based questions amongst others. Should know the outcome in 7-10 working days (so about 2 weeks).

Well done mate, another stage out of the way! Got mine tomorrow morning. I think it's natural to think you could have said more, but if you did your best then that's all you can do. Going to be a lonnnnnng 2 weeks now

Went OK.....I think? Managed to answer everything but like you felt afterwards I should have said xyz instead of what I said...good luck to anyone else

Be interesting to know how you get on, I'll let you know if I hear anything. But kudos for getting this far.

Aww mate, I'm so sorry for ya, don't give up and try not to let it get you down, use it to push back on and improve next time, you will make it eventually. I was one of the lucky ones this time

Thanks pal. Already passed first stage of assessments with another Toc so hopefully I can do the same again.
