Does that mean both 319003 & 319006 are at Wolverton or is Number 3 referring to the third one for Northern?

319003 is still out and about, was on it early this morning on the 03:21 Gatwick Airport- bedford

I presume tomorrow's 5M80 from Bedford to Wolverton is for a Thameslink C6 unit and not the Northern units?

I thought this was for Monday....?

Is this two separate moves/units then, i.e. one unit moving from Bedford to Wolverton for C6 and another unit moving from Wolverton to Allerton?

Any idea which unit for C6? I could speculate....:D

This is what I'm trying to confirm. There's moves booked tomorrow and Monday - I would presume tomorrow's is C6 (or it'll be cancelled) and Monday's is Northern's.

Its units for Northern not C6.

Wolverton only do two 319 C6s at a time, currently 319005/006 are there (with Northern's 319362).

Monday's move is for Northern units only.

There was only a move on Monday when I checked but multiple are booked to go.

Just a seen a picture of the units for Northern lined up at Bedford. 319380 wasn't on the list before was it?

Is this our borrowed one?

I cant seem to find the list of units that are due to come up unfortunately.

380,364 and 365 appear to be the chosen few!

Will there be some short formed trains on Thameslink until the 387s arrive since I thought the reason why only 3 319s could transfer until December was because they had to cover for C4&6 exams?

Technically the 'spare' trains are being used. Leaves things a read tight. The original plan had for units heading north prior to the 387s arriving. Now its six.

Up/Down, I get confused sometimes.

(I only noticed them as we were stopped at Hemel for 10-odd minutes with a temporary train fault).

No rush now that Liverpool to Manchester will not be ready for December.

There still appears to be no official news from Network Rail though.

Is there any chance of running 319s on Liverpool-Wigan instead? Electrification of Liverpool-Wigan and Liverpool to Newton-le-Willows was supposed to be done concurrently.

Word is phase 2 as a whole is delayed with the Victoria part looking unlikely for May 2015.

Northern look like they could do with some DMUs released urgently based on how many short formations they are currently reporting

Northern Rail said:

Unless the pretty much pack up at Vic till next year there is no way it will take them till May or beyond. Literally there are barely any stanchions missing now. You could put the wires up easily in two weekends.

Im wondering if we will see into Vic completed despite the delays so that the TPE diversion can return again electrically hauled ex Glasgow and Edinburgh

Good news about 380 anyway.

Move wasn't cancelled today... 319380 arrived at Allerton 20 minutes ago. One path was cancelled because there were duplicates in the system, that's all.

This sounds very sensible if this route is more complete than Earlestown. Why not use the first 319s on this service then substitute for 156s on Liverpool-Blackpool using the next ones terminating at Preston until Preston-Blackpool is complete. Is the flow big enough to justify through trains for a couple of years? There will be someone out there who can tell me how many DMUs this would release from December 2014.

Reading threads here, it appears that more than three 319s will be in the North by December.
