Are all the 319's being de-branded at the moment? Just seen 319363 paired up with another on am ecs near London Bridge with FCC logos removed.

FCC is being debranded as its part of the franchise agreement.

How many have been de-branded, noting 14 have been confirmed as transferring to Northern?

Nearly every 319 unit now. All have to be done in the next couple of weeks. Irony could be 361 keeps the FCC logo the longest if Northern hasn't striped it already.

Some FCC debranded stock looks a right state especially the 313s...aggressive debranding!

Most if not all of the FCC trains (319 and 377) I saw yesterday were sans branding

The Southern 377's we've got on loan at the moment are causing havoc at East Croydon when they arrive on a Brighton TL service alongside a Southern Brighton express. People not sure which one they want...too late... <D

I got on one of those yesterday. Apart from the outside colour and a bit of carpet near the doors they were pretty much identical inside so far as I could tell.

I can see how they could cause issues in the scenario you describe.

Of course pretty soon all the trains will be the same colour anyway...

As a user from Wimbledon to Thameslink the carriages that are going 'up North' are dirty inside and out and the seats are knackered! Talk about in need of a refresh!

The worst are the 319/0s

Will be glad to see the end of the FCC livery couldn't stand it except for the painted 321s

The 319/0s are basically in NSE condition except with FCC seat covers aren't they?
The cabs are equally disgusting with a layer of grime over everything (apart from the newish top half of the desk). Could do with a really good scrub throughout.

Sounds lovely (!) let's hope as the 319s go off for C4s they get a clean cab!

Plan is that next Monday, 1st September, 57306 will take a 319 up north (363 comes off lease on 1st September so will be that). There'll be a stop off at Wolverton to pick up 362 and then the two units will go to Allerton. Pretty sure I saw that the wires at Allerton would go live at end of August, too.

...I can't keep up , thanks to pet136 as always...

Would it not be 363 being dropped off at Wolverton and 362 taken to Allerton?

Tony Miles in September's Modern Railways says that before introduction with Northern the 319s are getting:
- internal and external repaint
- seating refurbishment
- door controls, and ability to make announcements, in each car
- PIS
Some work will be done at Wolverton but some also at Allerton.

nowhere
I suppose that either most of it will be done at Allerton for the 2 units that will have gone there without going stopping at wabtec (361 & 363) - or those 2 will be heading back at somepoint when more 319s are available

Surprising they never thought PIS was useful on a route with a varying stopping pattern and two major international airports on...
