I noticed it was a bit monotonous and I was just a passenger . I think most train journeys are a bit monotonous in the dark though.

Eastern side training school used to be in York, I believe there is a new school in Leeds now to replace York. Training is mixed between the school and your depot, rules and basic traction introduction will be done at the school and traction conversions, handling etc is done at the depot.

Thank you! Hope I get the job (1st assessments Monday) but it'd be quite a trek for me. (Half an hour to 40 mins South West of Sheffield). Still, worth it in the end if I get the job!

Didn't apply for that BUT in respect of trainee train driver role:
Email received today inviting me to a medical 03 Jan. If I pass that and refs are ok, I suspect I'll be given a firm offer! So excited but still a way to go. Anyway, now focussing on Christmas presents ... Can anyone help Ryan?

No, although they did tell me they had around 200 applicants for the role.

As I mentioned earlier, I have an interview for a Train Presentation Operative role on Wednesday.

Now for my despatcher interview, I mainly had customer service based questions, understandable, as it is a front-line customer role.

What type of questions would I be asked for the role of cleaner? Particulary one that is going to be based around nights?
