Silly generic question. If a train departs after midnight Friday, say midnight twenty on Saturday (Strike day) should they be p-coding the train?
A similar situation occurred some time ago during the week and they claimed in one email
"As the day before was a strike day, the 0020 will not run, it's in the previous day's timetable" (Northern CS Manager No 1)
However they contradict themselves with another email weeks later
"This train is at 0020 and the strike starts at 2359 so this obviously can not run" (Northern CS Manager No 2)
Obviously, they can't have it both ways. After contacting the ORR, a third email from Northern's organ grinder states
"Apologies, it is in the day before's timetable. A bus will provided when / if this happens." (Northern Senior Manager)
And.. guess what.... It's happened again, truly shocking behaviour from their train planners.
Any other lines where this is happening?
