Northern Class 331: Construction/Introduction Updates

What services on the Styal Line will see Class 331 operation?

Other than the Northern Connect service to Blackpool North from the Airport - none at the moment which I find difficult to believe.

Eventually 331s on Manchester Airport to Blackpool will be seen down that area, however no date yet.
September 9th will see the first 3x 331 diagrams on the west side, but they are all Liverpool to Blackpool

Yes we were doing conductor training on that service this morning. 2 return trips plus the exam at Wabtec.

Jesus only just got 331011 which I thought was the newest one there what's happened to 012 & 013 always seem to be out of sequence

The truck was still there so must have only got there this morning. They don’t always seem to arrive in a set order so maybe 12 and 13 are about. Next time I’m on the shed I’ll put an update on of whatever’s there.

It’s a drip feed into service until December as more crews are trained on them. Still 32x units booked on triangle.

Yes I was confused with the 195s. I wonder if it is the intention to keep 331103/104/111/112 on the west side. 103 is getting welded to the rails at Edge Hill.
