I’ve some further information about that 10.25, Sheffield to Hull, and Scarborough on 3/11/19. The units were uncoupled at Hull, and it was the 158 that worked forward to Scarborough. I saw and photographed it at Driffield - 158860. I understand there are restrictions on using Pacers north of Bridlington.

Thanks for adding that I thought it was unusual for a 142 to be heading towards Scarborough

2L79 Leeds to Sheffield was a 150/1 instead of the usual Pacer seen at Castleford at 2007 tonight, 15 minutes late.

I'm currently sat on 142004 which is paired with 156424 on 2O99 1619 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Oxford Road.

Water is seeping in, it's freezing cold and I'm loving it. Long live the pacers!

Despite the carnage resulting from heavy rain I noted the following today:

142 065 with a 153 on the 09:54 Knottingley Leeds,
142 027 on the 10:29 Leeds Sheffield via Castleford,
142 023 on the 12:15 Sheffield to Leeds via Bolton upon Dearne before the route was closed.
142 048 on the 11:08 Leeds to Nottingham but it terminated at Sheffield. It later worked the 12:18 Sheffield to Leeds and was noted later on the 17:05 Sheffield to Adwick and return then the 19:18 Sheffield to Leeds via Barnsley. On arrival at Leeds it was advertised as going on the 20:21 to Hebden Bridge then the 20:37 to York but in reality it was just left at the south end of platform 12...
142 094 worked the 12:30 Sheffield to Hull (and was the last eastbound service through Rotherham before that route was closed) and 14:53 return Hull to Sheffield.
142 078 on the 10:53 Hull to Sheffield.
142 054 on the 17:30 Sheffield to Hull.
142 014 on the 16:53 Hull to Sheffield.
142 019 and 142 086 on the 17:02 Sheffield to Leeds and return.

There were several parked up in the sidings as a result of the many line closures.

Sheffield - Doncaster expected ok from start of service tomorrow , Rotherham Central Tuesday from start of service at the earliest , should get one or two of those 142's moving around...

the sooner we get rid of them the better. Bench seats with chrome rails are a hazard for anyone tripping

Network Rail now saying Rotherham Central not reopening till Fri , more rain forecast on Thursday so that may not happen. Pacers continue to be routed via Rotherham Masboro not there normal path .
