142046 was back on it's home ground today. It worked the 16:37 Manchester Victoria to Wigan Wallgate service coupled to 142042.

142004 (with 150204) worked the 10:50 Wigan North Western to Alderley Edge service. 142004 has a bad wheel flat.

Units returned to Leeds and I fhink where 55620 (142 029?) and 142 045.
Damage may hasten end of one or both units.

I saw 142029 and 142045 arrive at Leeds at 13.55. After all passengers had detrained, the two 142’s then coupled up to two 153’s, before going ECS to, presumably, Neville Hill.

142 047 on its own and 142 031 paired with 142 048 doing the Rochdale to Bolton shuttles all day
142 046 and 142 042 shuttling between Manchester Vic and Wigan (both stations) all afternoon (16:37 and 18:37 Man Vic to Wigan Wallgate)

Also noted through Salford Crescent at various times were:
142 032 with 150 120 (10:08 Wigan to Stalybridge)
142 017 with 156 424 (09:49 Alderley Edge to Wigan NW)
142 004 with 150 204 (12:49 Alderley Edge to Wigan NW)

Out and about today I noted the following:
142 007 and 142 086 on the 08:46 Leeds to Sheffield. They then formed the 10:25 to Scarborough although only 007 was available for passenger use.
142 011 and 158 903 were on the 10:39 Sheffield to Leeds.
142 024 was on the 09:59 Hull to Doncaster and 11:13 return.
142 014 was on the 10:59 Hull to Doncaster and 12:13 return.
142 087 was on the 12:33 Doncaster to Leeds.
142 020 was on the 13:33 Doncaster to Leeds. It then did the 14:44 to Leeds and 16:17 return. After that it went on the 18:06 to Doncaster.
142 068 was on a Lincoln to Huddersfield working which arrived at 14:39 or thereabouts. Seen returning to Lincoln at 17:38.
142 012 was on the 14:31 to Leeds and it also did the 18:31 Leeds.
142 060 was on the 16:08 Leeds to Nottingham which terminated at Sheffield.
142 027 was on the 16:35 from Doncaster.

142 013 was noted stabled centre road at Sheffield in the morning but was out working in the afternoon being seen at Meadowhall.
142 065 was seen stabled at Holbeck in the late afternoon.
