Riiight! That's a lot. With the constraints of Welwyn, you can really only hope for 4 tph on the ECML. Is there really capacity for 16 tph on the MML?

It's definitely going to be grade-separated at St P, and underground. The junction at Belle Isle might be flat, but it links to the Copenhagen flyover. However, I've heard suggestions that they might reopen the old bores of the tunnels to divert some suburban traffic into them without overloading the fast lines.

Is the junction at St Pancras (International junction?) "flat" or "flying"? As far as I'm aware the one at the end of the link at the GN (Copenhagen junction?) is due to be "flat"?
