NIR Adelaide Depot

Apologies if this has already been asked but will the new depot compliment or replace the one at York Road? It strikes me that such a small fleet is difficult to justify two depots. Or is the plan to maintain one class at one and the other at the other?

Also can we not have a dedicated NI page? It's really difficult to sift through this one looking for NI stuff. We are 'RailUK' after all as opposed to 'GB'

Nope, the new Adelaide depot will be the home of the CAF 4CK / Class 4000 Fleet

Thanks! On a related but different note is there any chance of NIR making use of the option for fourth carriages for the class 4000s?

The operation of 4 and 5 can operation on the C4ks is there and possible. I was in CAF last July in spain and seen for myself this is possible. Whether NIR decide is another thing!
