I see too that it mentions some activities involve turning around and going back. That is an interesting developement!

Rather interesting, I was happily buzzing along in the 170 up until I saw the approach to Salford Bridge, which is where the Overhead lines REAPPEAR!!
I was enjoying my little ride without them! Now they are back Although I must say the branch is a fantastic little ride for diesels, shame the wire had to come back up. :mad:

:mad: Another little grotty moan - Own up - Who went and touched Riverside and gave it an industrial makeover hock: It now is classed as an "Extroidanary piece of work" hock: Although I do like the entrance to the tunnel after the bridge, makes it look very authentic.:neutral:

Apart from that.....(Who resized the repearter banners! I forgot to look for one and SPAD'd!)

The wires are only there because Salford Bridge is a Junction with the WCML, they will disappear after that when the rest of the route is released.

Superb extention. 1st run on the new branch, and overshot Steelhouse Lane by some distance due to the high speed limit, added with the decent gradient

Loving the new overheads, and the banner repeaters. They look much more authentic now.

Excellent work on the bridges, tunnels, repeaters etc. but I find it EXTREMELY hard to stick to the timetable, mostly because the signal doesn't clear until about 4 minutes after you've supposed to have gone, and the speed limits seem to be decreasing agin, yet no timetable easing and when you leave Lower End towards Whitminster, it gave me a TPWS brake demand after passing a signal that cannot display red :???:
Other than that, it's a damn sight better than what I could do

Hi,
I have enjoyed the latest NWM upgrade files that I have run so far. Excellent upgrades and the new branch looks great. Luckily I ran a passenger train over this route first, which meant that when I ran the freight train I managed to get up the grade without any problem. Proving what route learning is all about.

The changes to the Mammerwich route is also very interesting. I like the objects at Riverside and the Bridge and tunnels. The new repeater signals are also more realistic. At first I was sorry to loose the old river bridge, but as it appears in a other routes this makes the Hammerwich a bit more individual'.
I can still see the old bridge ocassionally when running the other routes.

The three Hi-Res files also ran well and the quality is really noticeable. I didn't suffer any worse frame rates than normal for my computer. The new overhead gantries also look great with a nice 3-D effect.

I forgot about the overhead isolated sections with the 323 and with a bang and a rumble the pantograph dropped and the train came to a stop. I had to put the reverser into neutral and press the number 2 (start) key to raise the pantograph and get going again.

All the route ran perfectly. However the following day I loaded up the Pacer Route and got the dreaded 'Blue Screen'. There were no error messages. The train cab is complete but the Object screen is completely blue. Is it my computer, or are others getting the same error and that there is a fault with the file?

Last night I had the chance to drive much of the route and what can I say apart from great work to all involved! It's a nice little extension and an improvement on the already very good released sections. Particularly the first crossing you come to on the new Salford extension [map]

I have the same blue screen wit that Pacer. I just use the BRR to change to a different Pacer.

Re Class 143 Pacer: This train uses panels with a non-standard width. Try using MS Paint (Menu: Image\Attributes) to increase the width of panel_wide.bmp and panel_wide_n.bmp to 2048. If that doesn't work: the train does come with (smaller) alternate panels. Go into panel.cfg and set DaytimeImage = d3d\panel.bmp and NighttimeImage = d3d\panel_n.bmp.

on TSC there are still 3 diagrams for NWM routes for BVE2 and the hammerwich-wood green NWM routes are BVE2 as well

not counted the number, think there are about 3. there is a 56, 156, and 170 diagram. would be nice, but I like the branch anyway
