311s were hellfire the electric 105sss

Didn't have any 311s, however I did have a Departmental Class 105 boneshaker on a service train once (with binbags taped up to to separate the driver from passengers as there was no partition) - my rarest DMU trip ever!

Ooh, didn't see this before. Here we go, railtours excluded (I'd like to know how Dave did some of his!):

Loco: 31, 37, 43 (Valenta 12RP200L), 43 (VP185), 43 (MTU 16V4000), 47, 50, 57/3, 67, 87, 90, 91

DMU/DEMU: 121, 142, 143, 144, 150/0, 150/1, 150/2, 153, 156, 158/7, 158/8, 158/0, 159/0, 159/1, 165/0, 165/1, 166, 168/0, 168/1, 168/2, 170/1, 170/3, 170/4, 170/5, 170/6, 171/8, 175/0, 175/1, 180, 185, 220, 221, 222/0, 222/1, 222/2

EMU: 313/0, 313/1, 314, 315, 317 (all variants), 318, 319, 320, 321, 322, 323, 332, 333, 334, 350, 360/0, 360/2, 365, 375/9, 376, 377/1, 377/2, 377/3, 377/4, 390, various slammer classes, 444, 450, 455/7, 455/8, 455/9, 456, 458, 460, 465/1, 465/9, 507, 508

Without checking my books, that would be the lot. There's some annoying gaps in there (not having done a 466 or a 155 for two examples), but I've been on at least one example of most classes of DMU, DEMU and EMU on the network as it stands.

But at least I can say I've driven D1013 as well...Something I suspect many members of this forum can't say they've done! If we were to add diesel galas I could add a good few more...

Actually I have had a go on "ranger" a long time ago;) just shunting at bridgo, probably about 1986. Speaking of westerns I passed one in new street north tunnel tonight. He was heading into the station as I left & had filled the tunnel with clag. No idea which one it was as it was rather dark & claggy in there to see.

Normally I hate these "list" threads. However, I think I might not do too badly on this one.

Locos: 31, 37, 43, 45, 47, 86, 90, 91.
DMU: 101, 105, 127, 142, 143, 150, 153, 156, 158, 170, 180.
DEMU: 220.
EMU: Unspecified GE slammer (probably Cl308 or similar), 313, 315, 317, 319, 321, 322, 323, 360, 365, 373, 377, unspecified SR slammers on the Hastings and Kent Coast lines, 442, 465.

Lets not forget that I'm no Ned. Also there may have been other traction from my days in short trousers that I wasn't particularly aware off. However, it's not a bad haul for someone who travelled by train occasionally.
